The cliffs where US Army Rangers scaled the heights under heavy fire. The area has been left exactly as it was, with deep craters from the bombings still visible and German bunkers you can walk through.
Arromanches & Mulberry Harbor
See the remains of the massive artificial harbor built by the Allies to supply the troops. The museum here offers great context on the incredible engineering feat that made the invasion possible.
Bayeux
A beautiful medieval town that survived the war untouched. It's famous for the 11th-century Bayeux Tapestry, which depicts the Norman Conquest of England, and its stunning cathedral.
Normandy Cliffs (Étretat)
